Dominique Galea

Dominique is an experienced spiritual director, having received qualifications in Spiritual Direction in the Contemplative Tradition from The Centre for Religious Studies at Mary MacKillop Place, North Sydney in 2007. She finds it a privilege to spend time with directees, exploring together the wisdom of the Holy Spirit unfolding in each directee’s life. Dominique has a Masters in Theological Studies and a deep interest in The Enneagram, holding qualifications as an Enneagram presenter, Typing interviewer and training supervisor. She is a member of the retreat team at The Marist Brother’s Hermitage at Mittagong and offers various input sessions as well as private spiritual direction on the Care for the Soul Retreats at The Hermitage. With 43 years of experience in Education, in both the Public and Catholic sectors, from Kindergarten teacher to University lecturer in Systematic Theology, as well as navigating the family relationships of a husband, three children and four grandchildren, Dominique has a broad understanding of the many and varied stages of life. Dominique is a parishioner of the Holy Name of Mary Parish Hunters Hill and along with numerous other ministries, has been an active member of the music ministry there and in every parish to which she has belonged since the late 70’s including Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, Alice Springs. She is currently offering direction in Sydney in the beautiful, sandstone, Piquet Building situated within the extensive, tranquil grounds of The Marist Centre, Hunters Hill.
